Road run and display for classic vehicles and motorbikes in support of the Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance and 'Mosaic'

Into the new year now and we've driven the proposed route a few times, each time with a slight variation from the previous one (I didn't know that there were so many ways to get from 'A' to 'B'), however, I think we've just about got it sorted now! This year we're spoilt for choice as we currently have two possible options for our 'Outpost' location, both very nice but both quite different, so that's something we will be trying to sort out over the next week or so.

We have, or will be contacting some of our regulars to see if we can persuade them to come back again for 2019 and can now confirm that Chris Lawson and his crew will be coming with their Marshall engine again and we already have some cars booked for the Road Run and some tractors for display on the field.

We haven't booked our display / entertainment yet for the afternoon back on the field, but will let you know as soon as we do......and talking of bookings, can we persuade you to get your booking in for 'Classics' nice and early as it does make our life a bit easier! The new booking forms and pricing information are available via the usual links above.

This year we are going to be supporting the Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance and 'Mosaic'. Mosaic are a locally based charity that
give help and support to bereaved children. To find out a little bit more about our chosen charities, please use the links on our 'Charities' page.

Last year, thanks to your help and generosity, we were able to donate £1,500 - 00 to both of our chosen charities with £150 - 00 for the Scouts who helped us on the day and we're hoping that we can match that and maybe even exceed those figures this year!

The photographs taken on the day last year by the camera club members are still available via the 'Gallery' button so please do take a look. You will see that they are not in chronological order, but in the order in which they were provided to me! Our thanks to the photographers for all their hard work and especially to Jeffery for sorting and re-sizing all the photograhs to make my life easier!

If you have any comments, good or bad, or any suggestions that you would like us to consider, please get in touch with us via the 'Contact' page. You can also use the 'Contact' page if you have any questions about Classics Around Dorset or if you are involved with organising a similar type of event and would like it listed in the 'Events Diary' on our website.
