Firstly, apologies to all those people who have been waiting for the post event website! Due to a combination of circumstances the update didn't happen as quickly as I had intended but, hopefully, now that it's under way I'll be able to get it done over the next week or so!
This years event raised in excess of £2,500 - 00 with a donation of £1,200 - 00 each for the Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance and 'Mosaic' plus £125 - 00 for our local Scout Troop. We wouldn't have been able to do that without the help of all of our entrants, many of whom come back year after year, our sponsors, and our lovely volunteers, who also seem to keep coming back! A very big thank you to everyone. Your efforts are very much appreciated.
It was great to see Chris, Laura and Tim with their steam engine and we have had some good feed back on the dog display by Victor Pitts and Michelle Hattie, who travelled up from Devon with their working collies, their ducks and their pony!
The photographs taken on the day by the camera club are now available via the 'Gallery' pages. Please do take a look! You will see that they are not in chronological order, but in the order in which they were provided to me! Our thanks to the photographers for all their hard work and especially to Jeffery for sorting and re-sizing all the photograhs to make my life easier!
If you have questions about Classics Around Dorset, any comments, good or bad, or any suggestions that you would like us to consider, please get in touch with us via the 'Contact' page.
